Rules & Regulations

Academic Term

It is imperative that the students strictly adhere to the day of opening and closing of each term during the academic year.

Student Conduct

The student should note that he/she is responsible to the authorities of the Institute not only for his/her conduct in the premises of the Institute but also for his/her conduct in general, outside the premises as well.

Discipline

If reported, observed objectionable conduct within or outside the premises of the Institute and hostel, will make him/her liable for strict disciplinary action.

Anti-Ragging

If students found guilty of Ragging, he/she will liable for punishment according to clause 9.1 of the regulations, as per the High Court decision for University Act. 1956-Regulation 26(1) G-2009.

Political & Antisocial Activities

The student should not participate in any political or antisocial activities.

Campus Cleanliness

Student should help in maintaining the buildings and the campus of the Institute clean and tidy.

Attendance

If a student remains absent for lectures or practical without prior, written permission of the HoD/Principal, he/she will have to pay a heavy fine per lecture and/or practical for his absence along with any other punishment of academic nature as decided by the authorities.

Continuous Absence

If a student remains absent from the Institute for continuous period of ten days without prior permission of the Dean/Director, the Management reserves the right to cancel his admission from the Institute and to strike out his/her name from the roll. Such a student will not be entitled for any refund.

Institute Rules

Student must abide by the rules and regulation frame by the Institute from time to time.

Notice Board

The student is expected to read the notices put on the notice board of the college regularly. The college is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the students due to his failure to read the notices from time to time.

Personal Information

The change in the residential address, contact number & email of the student must be communicated to the office immediately.

Identity Card

Students should carry their identity card in the college and it should be produced on demand by the authority.

Dress Code

The student must wear the college uniform on every working day except Saturday and at the time of college functions. The student should wear uniform compulsorily.

Disciplinary Declaration

At the time of admission every student shall sign a declaration pertaining to the Ordinance and submit himself/herself to the disciplinary jurisdiction of the Director and other authorities of the College.

Code of Conduct

A student shall be liable for disciplinary action for misconduct, Ragging and for violation of code of conduct.

Instructions of Authorities

The student should strictly obey instructions given by the Principal and concerned authority from time to time.

Vehicle Parking

All vehicles should be parked at notified places. The vehicle parked elsewhere other than the parking zone shall be confiscated.

Institute Property

The student should not cause any damage to the Institute property.

Examination Attendance

The attendance for the tests, tutorial, mid-term, prelim and all other examinations in the Institute is compulsory.

Misconduct

The student found guilty by act of misconduct, either in the Institute or outside, shall be subject to strict disciplinary action and may be expelled from the Institute.

Antisocial Activities

The students should not participate in any antisocial activities; otherwise, the student will be liable to be expelled from the Institute.

Mobile Phone Usage

The mobile phone should be switched off when students are in the Lab, classrooms, offices or library. Otherwise, they will be fined as per the rules of college for each infringement.

Legal Action Against Ragging

The Institute has a right to take legal action against students who are engaged in Ragging as per The Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999.

Management Decision

The above rules of discipline are always subject to change, modification, addition, omission or alteration and shall be modified whenever the management deems it fit and proper. The decision of the management shall be final.
